On Monday, 20th April, True Digital Park hosted the first edition of its new Show & Tell series, starting with a Fintech-focused evening that brought together founders, investors, and ecosystem players from across Taiwan and Thailand.
The highlight of the evening was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FinTech Space Taiwan and True Digital Park — a collaboration aimed at strengthening cross-border innovation and helping startups scale beyond their home markets.
Building Bridges Between Taiwan and Southeast Asia
FinTech Space Taiwan, represented by Section Manager Clark Yang, positioned the initiative as more than just a market visit.
It’s part of a broader strategy to connect Taiwan’s fintech innovation with global opportunities.
As Taiwan’s first government-backed fintech co-creation hub, FinTech Space acts as both an accelerator and a bridge — linking startups with financial institutions and international markets.
Thailand, in this context, is not just another stop.
It’s a strategic entry point.
With its growing focus on digital transformation — particularly in areas like AI governance, digital payments, and cybersecurity — Thailand presents a strong alignment with Taiwan’s core fintech strengths.
More importantly, it serves as a gateway to Southeast Asia.
A Room Full of Builders and Decision-Makers
The event brought together key players from Thailand’s innovation ecosystem, including representatives from Krungsri Finnovate, SCB 10X, and Acclime.
This wasn’t just a showcase. It was a curated opportunity for Taiwanese startups to present directly to stakeholders who shape the region’s fintech landscape.
Eight startups from FinTech Space Taiwan took the stage, offering a glimpse into the technologies and solutions being built across three key areas.
1. RegTech and Digital Trust
The first category focused on strengthening the foundations of digital finance.
TOPPAN Security showcased its expertise in digital identity, offering banking-grade passwordless authentication and AI-powered facial recognition for secure mobile banking.
HiTrust highlighted its work in payment security, using AI-driven fraud detection and EMV 3D Secure technologies to protect online transactions.
Turing Space demonstrated how blockchain can be used to create tamper-proof digital credentials, contracts, and certifications through its platform, Turing Certs.
These solutions point toward a future where trust and security are embedded into every layer of financial infrastructure.
2. Enterprise Solutions
The second category addressed the evolving needs of enterprises navigating digital transformation.
AIFT is working at the intersection of InsurTech and cybersecurity, focusing on generative AI security, including AI red-teaming and real-time monitoring.
Light Momentum Technology (LMT) is pushing hardware innovation with ultra-low latency FPGA-based systems designed for high-frequency trading environments.
IHH is building secure IoT-driven communication solutions, including encrypted decentralized video collaboration tools and next-generation AI-powered display systems.
Together, these companies reflect how fintech is no longer just about finance — it’s deeply intertwined with infrastructure, security, and enterprise technology.
3. Wealth Management
The final category explored how AI is reshaping financial decision-making.
TradingValley introduced Growin.ai, an AI-powered investment assistant designed to deliver hyper-personalized wealth management strategies.
Systemweb, an established player expanding into Thailand, presented its institutional-grade asset and fund management systems built for large-scale financial operations.
This segment highlighted a clear trend: the shift toward data-driven, AI-enabled financial services that cater to both individuals and institutions.
More Than a Showcase
What stood out about the evening wasn’t just the quality of startups.
It was the intent behind the collaboration.
For Taiwan, the goal is clear — help its startups go global.
For Thailand, it’s about strengthening its position as a regional hub for innovation.
And for both ecosystems, it’s about building meaningful connections that go beyond events and translate into partnerships, pilots, and long-term growth.
Looking Ahead
The Show & Tell – Fintech Edition marks a promising start to True Digital Park’s new series.
If this first edition is anything to go by, the format has the potential to become a key platform for cross-border collaboration in Southeast Asia.
As fintech continues to evolve, initiatives like these will play a critical role in connecting the right ideas with the right markets.
And in doing so, shaping what the region’s innovation story looks like next.
